You think TC management liked the way Price handled the puck yesterday?

Annoying that most outlets say "Price misplayed the puck". He didn't misplay it, he left it there for his D. If his D wasn't getting there before the opposing forechecker, the D may have whispered that to his goalie, or at least tell him to get rid of it.

Genius #1, as I said. You're a Leaf fan and you're talking about a Habs goalie. Your opinion is discarded.

I don't think they had any issues with any part of Price's game.

he didn't misplay anything. And he didn't have much to do with the deflection in front of the net either.

And I don't think Team Canada coaches give a s h it about him being scored on. I think they loved the way he reacted.

Believe whatever you want. You don't have the ability to separate your hate of all things Habs, from your love of TC.

Its an interesting point. I think if they look at the vids they'll see he was out covering his angles well. He was fighting the puck a bit but there really wasn't much opportunity for him to shine, couple of clutch glove saves and thats it.

All I was asking, didn't know if they would hold that against him because otherwise he played well.

Nope... his puck moving ability and ability to break up dump-retrieve gives him the edge... they want him using it as much as possible.

These games are intended to get the players on the same page... this stuff will work itself out.

Price didn't misplay the puck, he had a communication breakdown with his defender. That's on both of them, but I don't even think it really led to the goal. A deflection in front did.

The game is called differently. Checks to the head are called more severely, and if you hurt someone, you'll be suspended. That's a scary prospect for any player that was named to this team.

They let a lot of clutching and grabbing go

Well, it did lead to the goal. If Price shoots that puck up the boards, or the D picks it up, Norway never gets a scoring chance.

when the puck finally got to Canada's end with like 2 minutes left in the second period, did you see him get into hyper-focus mode... he was so untested in the second that he had to like show something to the bench that he hadn't fallen asleep.

that's why I was so impressed with composure level right off the hop. guaranteed coaching staff will point that out as a major positive from the game to reinforce. And Getzlaf laying off was perfect example.
