the only problem I had with the 2 cups was I felt that we were robbed of the "HOLY poop WE WON THE (frank)ING CUP " moment vs the Flyers because of the mysteriousness of the Kane OT goal , however the over drive of excitement in GAME 6vs Boston still has me on a high . - mrpaulish
That year was when the NHL started putting the goal judges in the press box. Most of the buildings did that and Philly was one of them (and Chicago as well). Still do. Goal judges are now referee judges. Put the light on when the ref points at the goal. If there was a goal judge behind the net that night the light most likely would have gone on and people could have gone off right away. It sucked for 4 years until this afternoon when I watched and especially listened to Ogi's video. That video is a thing of beauty. |

Ok Captain Qoolaid, keep firing. Has Q ever done what Berube has done with the Flyers this year? No he hasn't. Why? HE NEVER PHUCKIN HAD TO!!!!
So phuck offffffff - 6628
What has Berube done with the Flyers this year??? Absolutely nothing yet......and one could argue taking the eventual Western Conference Champions to overtime in game 7 with half the roster filled with journeyman or AHL'ers is quite the accomplishment.... |

"Everyone" always says Kane was the only one who knew the puck was in: I think everyone on the ice on both teams (except for Niemi) knew it - look how they all just stop and look at the net. |

While winning it is always the best, I still miss having a stadium go wild with cheering for each home player when he picks it up. I really hope we win it at home This year |

I'm not angry. Used the caps so this guy source would make sure to see it. I suggested we ignore each other last week because it seems like I drive him as crazy as watching Q does to me. Source has been my least favorite poster on here with his "no" bullshiit and I usually just go right past his posts as I suggested he do with mine last week. Difference of opinion is all. But I do notice that when someone gets pissed at him he gives his side yet again and then says lets move on. Yet he keeps the shots coming like a 12 year old with me. Be nice if he could just take his own advice and move on. - 6628
I'm sorry I didn't see your post suggesting we ignore each other.....and yet you responded to my post. I have never told anyone to "move on" if there is a difference of opinion. The comment made about Q was NOT DIRECTED AT YOU but if you feel it was then so be it......I've also never asked someone to ignore my posts. Again, if you feel 700 wins and 2 Stanley Cup Trophies are pure luck then again...I will strongly disagree with you....and will do it without telling you to PHUCK OFF......have a good day my friend. |

Detroit currently has 32 players on their active roster, two of them on LTIR. - mohel
ahhh Mohel, how many guys on playing active roster - some of those guys are on ir, but not ltir. so you can have some call ups. IRs still count against cap. But then i am assuming you can bring some one up to replace. there are also some emergency call up provisions too. not sure exactly how that all works. Also saw some buried contracts.
ya, 32, wow, it does seem excessive.
I remember a few years back when Calgary was up against the cap - they were playing with 18 or 19 players towards the end of the season. |

which is it - hawks lack depth? the top players are tired because they play more minutes because of lack of depth and no players can fit into Q's system or that Q trusts. Well Q trusted Frolik. YOu are so classic.
And i was piling on the Bulin signing - and you can't mention that without a Frolik or depth comment.
Ya ya - i know - Q and SB won lots of cups and you can't criticize their poor decisions. Nobody is perfect.
but what is funny - i have witnessed lots of people running companies that are not very smart - happen to be in the right place and right time. When the going gets tough and when there is no room for mistakes - they usually sell or move on or unwilling to change and drive the company to bankrupt. keep going back to the same formula that doesn't work anymore.
i like both Q and SB, but they do make mistakes. A man accepts the mistakes and trys to avoid making the same mistake again.
edit: just a fyi - i am not saying SB or Q are not smart - before someone twists my words. SB has some knowledge and Q has a decent system but sometimes their decisions are questionable. - Topshelf2010
Again, the argument about Frolik has nothing to with Stan or Q.......it has to do with a guy making 2.3 million in a hard cap year who hasn't had double digit goals since he's been here....it's a business move and in regards to how a player is valued. |

Sharpie joked at the 2010 fan convention that Ladd threw a great block on him after he tried to get to Kaner to celebrate.

Or if Frolik made $1.3 million he'd still be here. I will be interested to see what happens to Frolik in the summer, will he re-sign with the Jets are be traded because he's asking for too much money. His agent is a shark and will be looking for Bickell type money. |

I'm sure someone will pay him because of the offensive number in Winnipeg....but just as he did in Florida those stats are on a bad team. However you are right, if he made 1.3 million he would be on team.... |

Hello Q, how's it going? I would guess that they'd rather have Raanta in RFD, but they must see a decent gap between LaBabs and Raanta. - mohel
Doing well Mo, thanks. Hope you are, as well. |

Last nights altercation between WPG and STL made me miss buff even more. At one point he had Jackman and reeves held up at the same time |

When Buff gets pissed there is no stopping him. That was such a tough game for them. They were really competitive all game. They needed 2 huge points. Then with only 7 minutes left the blues scored on a lucky bounce on the powerplay. No wonder Buff was pissed. Plus everyone hates the Blues |
