Hanging in there!
No Saad or Rozy tonight, so it is going to resemble the famous fire drill tonight. Heard Saad may play tomorrow. |

Tonight's the type of night where the big guns need to show up and take charge. |

I'm thinking Brookbank at 3RW and Rundblad at 6D. |

True dat, Darth. Tomorrow, too.
Same thing that said Saad is possible tomorrow and Rozy is a few days, which means this isn't the "Great TT Shell Game". |

Don't think so: that would leave a defenseman at wing and an unproven defenseman at 6D.
I think they would go Regin at 3W and Brookbank at 6D.
I hope. |

That year was when the NHL started putting the goal judges in the press box. Most of the buildings did that and Philly was one of them (and Chicago as well). Still do. Goal judges are now referee judges. Put the light on when the ref points at the goal. If there was a goal judge behind the net that night the light most likely would have gone on and people could have gone off right away. It sucked for 4 years until this afternoon when I watched and especially listened to Ogi's video. That video is a thing of beauty. - 6628
Yeah it kinda surprised when I realized (far past the change) that the guy with the buttom was sitting up higher than me in one of the corners waiting for the signal from the ref to hit the light.
I for sure remember many a light going on when the puck didn't actually go in and partially it was I thought to the Stadium noise level cause visual objectivity to throw itself out the door.
The best goals were the ones that hit the back of the net low and came back out so fast no officials saw them

LTIR = Injured reserve. I'm not sure what you're getting at with all this, Shelf. - mohel
LTIR = long term injured reserve and does not count against the cap - there is some criteria for it; 10 games or 24 days now. use to be 10 games or 30 days. |

May as well have regin center line 3. I'm guessing they'll put Brookbank at 3LW vs the Blues in expectation of nastiness. We'll definately need Saad tomorrow. |

Lots of mix and match tonight - one reason why it is good everyone plays together at some point for the Hawks. |

There is only LTIR. There is no separate injured reserve list. The Red Wings have 30 active members on their roster that count toward the cap, and two on LTIR. There is no limit on the number of players on the active roster - there IS a limit on how many can be on the game day roster.
BTW - LTIR does count against the cap. What happens is that the team has the temporary ability to go above the cap by the amount of the injured player's salary. It is all right here... http://www.capgeek.com/fa...injured-reserve-LTIR-work |

I love East European injury and intrigue. Get Rozy some rest. Get TT some NHL foundation. WIN. WIN. - philco28
Which do we find out first - TT will actually play one game or they find that plane. Funny Facebook picture has the plane in the sand on a lost deserted island. Gillian and the Skipper r looking at the plane! |

Never wanna put too much stock in only 1 or 2 games, but given how average we've been of late, id say its time to make a statement. These next 2 games are as big as it gets. Not only to better position ourselves to get home ice against the Avs in round 1(the most likely outcome), but mainly to give us our swagger back and to gain momentum moving into the playoffs. Flyers are playing their best hockey of the season and are definitely gonna want revenge for that woodshed bludgeoning we put on them in December. Then obviously we need to establish ourselves against the Blues. poops startin to get serious. |
