@mo Yes, there have been break up the core suggestions. The plan is to be in cap heaven, but make the team worse. - rollpards19

That's good enough for me. I'm feeling like this roster is set as is. Hawks will ride it to the end |

According to the twitter account for capgeek....the only way TT can be on the team is if a player is put on LTIR or demoted. |

Think Stan's gonna trade a 2nd for a guy, play him once (I believe) and then lose him on waivers? I don't. |

I would as well....if you waive someone and he poops the bed....you just gave up draft picks for nothing.....and you could ruin this kids psyche and development. I think the answers are on the roster now, it's just a matter of being healthy and the right combinations. Waiving a veteran dman like BBank is stupid, he's player fairly well this year....LTIR for Handzus, you lose a key component of your PK which has been outstanding for two months and is what it was last year at this point...... |

What if they legitimately believe TT helps win them a cup? Is a cup worth a second round draft pick? |

It is a difficult period for a Hawk fan from the "MMA" sector of fandom. Some think the game is still glorified roller derby. |

If they put Handzus on LTIR now he can comeback for the playoffs. I also disagree it would ruin his development. That didn't happen to Kruger, Saad, or Smith. I think it's much harder to ruin a forward's development than a defenseman's |

Just stop with the Mashintor stuff......please....... The Hawks are not going to bring up a goon just to goon it up...it's not their style, heck it's not the style of the majority of NHL teams. Suggesting it makes you sound like an arse..... |

Certainly. But this all happened in a very short amount of time, and said set of moves would indicate that Stan has no plan. IF TT is coming to play for the Hawks down the stretch, that was very likely the plan when Stan obtained Rugrat. This suggests that Stan has either another way to get TT on the roster, or that he doesn't plan on adding him.
I'm not saying I'd be against it, just reading the StanBo tea leaves. |

I can't see Stan waving anyone to make room for TT. However putting somebody on LTIR is a different story. |

True, but there is always a chance he gets knock on his head and becomes scared to play....or if he makes a mistake that costs the team the game.... |

To me, the only realistic path is LTIR for Caboose. If TT lights it up, Zues comes back for the playoffs when the cap is gone. If he doesn't, they shut him down to save a contract year and Zues gets fresh (like Hossa's legs did). |

Some Hawk fans are in a tough spot - they like roller derby hockey, but their team is winning Cups playing a style they hate. Sucks.... |
