Lets not get crazy.

Larmer's # should be hanging in the rafters.

- mrpaulish

Should have happened yesterday, but in the meantime, Smitty is rep'ing it very well.

Through 40...

Smitty is 2-3 at the dot
Toews 10-15
Kruger 4-8
Zeus 2-9...ouch.

I will give him to the playoffs and next season before I start ripping him to shreds..again. Guys who sign big contract usually struggle that first season for whatever reasons.
- Elbows15

Good timeframe, imo. Lost year for him so far, but he can redeem himself in the playoffs.

28 is playing a helluva game
- philco28

He is, although I preferred Smith as #57. I'm just not comfortable seeing anyone wear #28. If the Blackhawks aren't going to officially retire Larmer's number then at least keep it out of the rotation officially.

I'd like to see Stan re-sign Smith sooner rather than later. I'd expect a deal similar to Bollig's.

Hawks only retire numbers of players in the HOF. Maggie is the only exception. And that was more due to the nature of his passing and the work he did after he hung em up.

Regin - 3:35 for the game - which means about 1 1/2 minutes in the second - 3 shifts in the second.

Like the old joke about the hotel in the Catskills: first little old lady - "Rose, the food this year is terrible".

Second little old lady- "Yes, and such small portions".

3 shift, minute and a half - 30 seconds per shift - how could you see him?

I would have rather has a couple of kids up here instead of him and Rundblad. And the whole Rundblad thing is screwy. I think there was a deal in place that was nixed. The move makes no sense otherwise at this point in time.
