Lucic is a team first guy, gotta love his style. Any team would be trying as hard as possible to retain him. He's got a style of play that agitates the other team, he can score and hit and skate. He's an all around player. |

Nice read Ty.
Looch is not under rated. 10 in a row would be awesome...4-2 for the B's |

Milan Lucic is the best power forward in the game
He fights, hits, scores and underrated in the passing game. |

Short of the obvious players in Stamkos, Crosby, Malkin, OV and the like if you asked me the one player I would want on the Flyers it would be Lucic.
Love watching him and would give anything to see Lucic and Simmonds as a pair!

I love looch but he's no cam Neely, if anything he might be a tad overrated, and again. I love him, just my opinion. He's given a much more consistent effort this year, but I always thought he could/should be a 40 goal scorer |

That is such a tough thing to accomplish. How many guys in the league are consistent 40 goal scorers? 5-8 players? The game has changed since the Neely days, if can produce 25 goals a season then that is more than enough. |

I know, and we're a defense first team.'which doesn't help my arguement, but I'm still making it. |

So you're telling me Edmonton didnt need this potter guy? Lol, he looks solid. Great addition considering what chia paid for him. Way too much depth on this team, its not even fair. If the D holds strong and they bring this level of play to the playoffs theyll be near impossible to beat. And id say looch is adequately-rated. Every team fears/envys him. Except maybe Anaheim. I bet perry has something to say about the whole best power forward in the league thing |

Lucic is probably the farthest thing from being underrated.
He has been well known all over the league for years now. He is what so many teams in the NHL do not have.
He's got guts, he's snarly, throw the body, the fists, and can play the (frank)ing game! No other power forward in todays NHL compares to him.
He may be a Bruin, but he's my favorite player in the league. |

This teams top 9 is scary good. They roll 3 lines that can all score and grind down opposing teams. Add in a 4th line who is good at puck possession down low and drawing calls with an aggressive forecheck.
I think the defense will hold up for the playoffs, they still have Boychuk and Chara as the anchors. They have good depth on the back end and they just need to be good enough and let Tuukka do the rest. |

I think he is definitely the envy of many other teams. It's hard to excel in soo many areas. Any player that can hit that hard and score 20 to 30 goals per year is awesome. He came into the league swinging against the leagues best fighters of the time.....at age 19. Then he scores 30 goals. Ask Emelin how tough and solid Lucic is. Both he and Iggy are having a great time on that line. Just wait till the playoffs.
Not many teams in this league can roll 4 solid lines. Have to give credit and kudos to Soderberg for emerging as a strong 3rd line pivot.
Nobody in the East can match us for depth.
Once we get Boychuk back we will rock it out. |

Is Perry really a power forward though? If anyone on anaheim is, its probably getzlaf. |

somewhat agree, hate to call him overrated, but he needs to score more to be considered a Corey Perry. |

They wont let me In all honesty he would of been gone at the deadline if it where up to me. He is pretty set on playing another year and Pete caves in to his whining every time at this point it is a distraction and it is causing problems. Schneider is the #1 guy and has been all year but Pete just cant tell Marty he is the back. If Cory walks because of this crap I will be pretty upset about how this was handled ( not that I am not already ) |

He should have hung it up a few season's ago. Fricken 10 wins in a row. What's sick is that they win 10 straight and still could be doing a few things better. Time for a cold shower. |

I'd say they both are. They're both big and mean and have tons of skill... could you imagine Lucic playing LW with those too? Scary stuff.

Agree completely! Lucic is a beast! Bob Clarke hit gold in the first round of the 06 draft when he found Giroux. Apparently he was asleep in the 2nd round when he passed on Lucic with not 1 but 2 picks that ended up being busts. Hindsight is 20/20 and other GMs also passed on him but man would Lucic look good in Orange & Black!! |

No he looks much better in black and gold. Did you know Cam Neel was almost traded to the Flyers??? Last minute decision. Flyers even offered up more for him. |
