Great to see a guy who, according to our coach & management, is not NHL ready, doing so well.
They can't even assess their own talent properly. - Marwood
Can't wait to see what Markstrom can do! |

This, to me, is extremely alarming
No wonder our prospect pool is so shallow. We definitely need a GM who has more experience assessing and developing prospective talent. |

HF sucks, I like Pronman's rankings better. But yea, this team is definitely still bottom 10. - Nucker101
Our best prospect BoHo rated 22 on Dobber list but compared to other teams farm systems we suck. |

In Utica?
Another one who is not NHL ready. He should demand a trade. |

To be fair on this, Rollie Melanson has done an excellent job with our goalies and for whatever reason it seems Markstrom hasn't been developed properly to date.
He's the Canuck backup so he's in Vancouver and will have plenty of time to work with Rollie between now and the start of next season. I'd actually like to see him shutdown for the season and allow that process to unfold. It could pay handsome dividends for us if handled correctly and, like I said, Rollie is the only one in this org that I trust developing anyone properly. |
