Went to last night's game, free tickets. Was an alright game to see nothing spectacular but good for a Sunday night. Sat with what seemed to be all of buffalo's fan base. They were riding high and chirping after two goals but quickly became quiet and drunk after that.

Kassian > Hodgson

Cody looks pathetic out there, so glad we traded that bum. He was sulking all game, no energy what so ever. Kassian is going to be the next best power forward in the NHL. I'd be shocked if he didn't score 35-40 goals next year.

Was that the entire context of the quote? Maybe(hopefully) he was using that as an example by saying that doing little things showed Kassian's concentration and mental strength was there the entire game. The guy clearly has all the physical tools and the skill to be a top 6 forward, but mentally he needs to be more consistent.

I haven't watched the post-game comments so maybe someone who has can be 100% sure.

Brutal. Torts says that Kassian is a project and needs work and when he finally has a good night he can't even get a real compliment. How long until he requests a trade as well.

Hoping we do the DTD (IR+) change for an IR spot next year in the pool... Hurts come playoff time and in a keeper league being stuck with a player that is supposed to be out weeks yet the team hasn't put on IR.

On a side note... starting to like the kassian trade although will never like the timing... Kassian has more even strength points then Cody with much less top 6 time, and -6 compared to -24.... AND he is still a yr younger.

.... but wait.... at the beginning of the season you were calling Kassian a bust. You said they got burned in that trade and you have a source in the Canucks organization that heard Gillis say that they way over shot Kassians value.... in fact you quoted Gillis saying bust as well...

I knew that.

The beauty is I also have the added luxury of getting dinged on my draft position because my team's lines apparently weren't set regularly earlier in the season. Yet I've been making moves and diligently setting my lines for the past month and am in exactly the same position as when I took over the team.
