Jay brown has edmonton oiler management written all over it. That's an expensive ad spot. Some joe blow oiler fan won't pay for that space.

I had no idea thats where the nickname City of Champions came from, I always assumed it was from the Eskies or from the Commonwealth Games

I think the key to this game is to build off the previous SJ game. We didn't play a bad game and it'd be good to not get dominated in possession.

I really hope Greg chase impresses in his short stint. He had a terrific year and if he can adapt quickly to the pro game maybe we have an Andre Shaw in the makng

The mayor at the time of the black Friday tornado gave Edmonton that nickname in response to how well the city came together to rebuild and recover from that nasty tornado. The winning Oilers team at the time was just a coincidence.

I'm superior to each group, because I've accepted that it's merely a function of the oilers being a team that doesn't win many hockey games, that as a fan I wished won more hockey games.
