Fleury is truly the x-factor going into these playoffs. I don't expect him to play like Quick or Rask and post a below 2 GAA, but if he can keep his GAA in the low 2s, the Penguins will be very successful in the playoffs.

Has anyone asked Dan or Tony why Crosby is on the left side? Im curious to know the reason.

A first round match-up against the Wings would be intriguing to say the least.

That Jokinen shootout goal was just how he planned it. Swing wide, loose control, regain, try to deke, get pokechecked, up over the shoulder...nothin but net.

I don't get this at all. I guess the answer is "Neal plays the strong side."

Penguins are predominately a left handed team. Run it out of the right side and if things happen to find themselves on the left side Niskanen or Letang can play the current "Crosby role".

Nope. Could be any of Columbus/Detroit/Philadelphia/NYR.

That saucer pass Crosby made to Neal last night was truly amazing. I never played hockey so maybe it was a lot easier than It looked, but to me....amazing. With that being said I'm glad to see Neal playing with Sid.

It's very hard to make a backhand saucer to a player while moving at top speed and surrounded by 3 people. Not Earth-shatteringly hard, but hard.

Plus, all four of them have been putting wins together, making it hard to predict who will drop.

To me, the big thing on MAF isn't so much the stats as the quality. If he makes 15 acrobatic stops and then lets a slow trickler from the blue line beat him, his head might come unglued again. All he should need to go is to make the stops he's expected to make, and come up with the big one from time to time.

no one has bounced one in off his ass from below the goal line in a while. hopefully that's not a springtime trend again.

Yeah, Yeah Fleury....Keep blowing smoke about this guy. Until he proves himself in the playoffs, nothing matters. He can stop everything in sight but the PLAYOFFS will tell the story. He was not chosen for Team Canada for a reason. NO TRUST. Until he proves them wrong, that will be with him FOREVER. Too bad for him that there are no shootouts in the playoffs. Somehow I knew last night that he would give up the tying goal, one way or the other. You can blame whoever you want but the truly good goalies don't give up those type of goals when you are trying to close out a game. It is now April and the pressure will be on this guy now, more than ever. I hope he does not fold like a cheap suit again.

That usually isn't the case in the regular season. We'll see if he has the playoffs figured out soon enough.

I get what you're saying, but how do you blame him for the 3rd goal? It changed direction 6 feet away. No one can react that quickly. Please bring some logic and lack of bias to the conversation.

Did you see the tying goal? Maybe Ben Bishop can stop that, but the deflection popped the puck over him.

I'm not saying that I trust Fleury in the playoffs yet, but you are reaching with finding blame in that tying goal.
