For years now this team has loved to climb out of third period holes. - JoeRussomanno
And most of the time they dug the hole themselves. Rangers are solid but the flyers are shooting themselves in the foot. |

One, you switch up a 2nd PP unit that has largely been ineffective for much longer than this series.
( they have been ineffective all year )
You work with your #1 PP unit, to not only go through Giroux. You do not wait to game 3 in the first round of the playoffs to realise this.
(This is already being tried)
You stop trying to force 10-40-17, when it clearly is not working.
I will agree there.
You do not, in games 1-3 (I haven't checked after), have your 3rd line, and much of your 2nd line playing more minutes than your star players.
(Probably because those guys are also on the kp unit).
You try and get your top line away from the top D pairing of the other team, at home if you cannot on the road.
Then don't complain when the first unit plays so little time.
You also (god forbid), work with discipline with your team throughout the year, so we don't have trips to the penalty box in games 1-2, leaving them now playing tentative and fearful of taking a penalty.
This is to subjective, can't play stupid or hesitant?

Well Colorado came back yesterday, after being handled for most of the game.
Kings are doing it to San Jose after being hunted for the first 3 games. Lets see what they can do. |

From what I have seen, the Kings have turned the tide physically. In game 4, that was the most noticeable thing.
They pushed back, and stop being hunted. |

I dont understand what changing Schenn and Hartnell accomplishes. THey are similar players. He should have moved Raffl up or Akeson. |

Line up Changes.
At least you try. That's a start. Kind of weird to leave Vinny up there, as he is continuously behind the play. |
