The rags are slightly better, and faster, but the female doging is just insane. Ok. The Flyers lost today. female dog away.
But the same people female dog and female dog and female dog during Game 4, the day after, even when they're winning -- it makes no sense! - AllInForFlyers

off season game plan
lets timonen walk
trade coburn to edmonton for 2 2nd round picks
trade grossmann
sign niskanen
sign vanek - 2Real
that would be a hell of a lot of salary coming on. and for all the crapping people do on coburn, i dont know if you would like the look of the defense without him. |

I'm sorry but there is no way that a player like G, the captain of this team, can ever miss that pass from Jake. I truly think I could have scored that goal. Puts them up 1-0 early completely changes the game. Not saying they definitely win, but changes a lot. After that they get 2 power plays and get what 2 maybe 3 shots from that. Gifted the no goal call, I mean what else do the Flyers need.
The Rags want it more and bury their chances the Flyers don't. Gill and Akeson have shots that have to go in or at least go on net.
Which game have the Flyers really been the better team. Yes they've won 2 games but were they the better team in them. This is going to be a very tough series for them to pull out the win. It could happen, but from what I've seen they will have to be a completely different team.
How could so many 20 goals scores go dry at the same time? - LJF

I would dare say, that they have having issues matching the speed game, and its the biggest reason. They get beat to loose pucks continuously, and have no time to make the plays they want.
That, and what Marc alluded to, I am not sure of the identity. They played this really heavy D first style right when Berube took over. They seemed to loosened the reigns a little, but have gone right back to it.
The team I am watching play now, is not the same team I saw in the regular season, even in losses. |

I don't think the Rangers are that much better ... but they certainly are a bad matchup for the Flyers.
in much the same way the Pens probably don't want to play the Flyers, the Flyers would have been better served to avoid the Rangers. - FlyerGuy
I don't think the Rangers are better at all....they are playing much better, but it's like they are beating them selves...they are their own worst enemy.

Really? What did the Flyers do well in those 2 wins that gives you any confindence they can win this series. Both those wins were because of the goaltender. Emery won game 2 and Mason won game 4. - Daveflyers36
I guess the Rangers had Stéphane Beauregard in their net.
In case you missed it, the Flyers out shot the Rags 26-22 today. |

The one thing that is inexcusable to me is being pushed around physically. That is just salt in the wound.
Giroux has been mugged all series. Mason was taken out with a dirty play just before the playoffs. They have been taking it to you physically in games 1-5. Where is the push-back other than from Voracek? - flyer_nutter
It does seem their balls fell off after the regular season |

Omg haha. There's a reason giroux only guaranteed game 4.
This team better hope gostisbehre can take a major step
Kimmo can't keep pucks in on the PP.

The Flyers, not Mason or Emery, scored 4 consecutive goals in game 2. - opeth_pa
You are insane. The Flyers have scored a grand total of 8 goals in 5 games. (I don't count empty netters). That is a huge problem and if it wasn't for Emery and Mason, there would not be a game 6. Seven 20 goals scores and for the exception of Jake, they have all sucked. |

They needed to cash in on those early PPs. How could a team with a decent PP look so bad? That's when you miss a soft and overpaid guy like Brier who finds a way to show up in big games. Still believe that game 6 is winnable. The crowd and last changes will help. Need to find a way to score first. I believe the Rangers are a better team but not by a lot. |

I agree....where is Simmonds, Hartnell, Rinaldo ? I can't believe the lack of passion from this team....I'm shocked. |

The forecheck gets ramped up in the playoffs. The defense as a whole has had trouble either carrying the puck out or making a good first pass. The blueline needs to be remodeled.

Multiple runs at Giroux , most legal.
Multiple bumps into Mason.
The only player that is playing with any passion is our best forward in Voracek.
If Zuccarello throws a hip check like that into Crosby, Towes, Kane does anyone thing their would not have been a response. |
