they're losing a lot of battles and seem to not be in the right place. the rangers are constantly moving and getting to most of the loose pucks. the flyers are slow with making puck decisions. the lack of urgency today was most alarming. it was like going through the motions of a game in winnipeg in january. - hammarby31
Your right. The flyers are really slow with their puck movement and decision making. I think it is magnified in this series. They are so afraid to turn the puck over with their lack of speed up and down the lineup. They just don't want to risk it |

That play Duncan Kieth just made to keep the puck in the at the blueline... wow
Flyers have no one that does that.
Kimmo has been ineffective at that lately - Marc D
keith is incredible though. you can count on one hand the teams in the league who have someone comparable outside of chicago |

Meanwhile, Ryan Miller is looking like a flopping out of position fish, ready for the skillet. Blues would love to have either Goalie in the Flyer Ranger series at this point. |

So the Hawks going through the gutless Blues in 4 straight with Sharp doing nothing and no Seabrook for 3 games. Depth personified. |

Only read the last few pages. Already in Summer trade mode? Flyers are going to win game 6 to force a game 7. Then we'll see what happens. |

its a shame they drew chicago. thats an unfair first round matchup. i dont care if it showcases division rivalries. i hate this new playoff setup.
STL has a lot of players i would ridiculously covet. |

i dont see it as lack of guts at all. miller hasnt been as advertised for them, chicago is just really fricken good. this series should be a WCF, not a first round matchup.
backes and lack of guts cant be in the same thought pattern. |

Makes it nice when your D can make snappy crisp passes and get the puck to you before the other team is set. |

If the Flyers do happen to lose one of the next two games, they will win the series in 9! |

They'd love to get their hands on Vinny L. This guy is a proven commodity and has scored a lot of goals in this league. They'd be lucky to have him |

as much as i wish the bruins were a fraud, im gonna have to disagree there. it very may well be another rematch of last year. both of those teams are just that good.
star power, depth, commitment to a system yet have the ability to understand when they need to adapt, accountability, |

My view of this game is due to what happened in the first period of game 4. Where the Flyers came out hard, but did not play within the system. They mismanaged the puck, and did not check well in the neutral zone. And it led to a ton of scoring chances for the Ranger before the FLyers stabilized. I think the Flyers wanted to come out in this game, and play within the system, and get off to a better start. But I felt the were too calm, and too cautious. And I thought they lacked emotion today. need to find that fine line, and being aggressive, while also playing smart. Not enough urgency offensively. |
