agreed...but I would figure they package their picks for a player prospect trying to make the jump to the NHL. I agree with the saturation but they need to have a proven player sooner or later to even out the cap space. |

good read...really don't think anaheim would give a rats ass about Enroth....plus i'd like to see Ewok get a year to show us what he can do...when he's not spliting time with neuverith (SP) |

i hear ya...depends upon how they manage their 50 pro contracts...i believe they're at 35 right now with quite a few roster spots to fill...gonna take some juggling...that being said, if the opportunity presents itself, methinks murray will jump on it |

was just a thought...the sabres may have one too many goalies at this point and it wouldn't surprise me if one of them are moved...my guess is either enroth or Hackett...personally, i'd like to keep hackett |

Best off to move one IMO, but I don't think either really gets you a 1st rounder |

Package ehrhoff and a goalie and a second to Edmonton for 3rd overall. Then depending on what Florida does they could take both Sams. Buffalo has a massive amount of prospects that they are never going to dress. Although it would make more sense to try to leverage for next seasons draft rather than this one. |

I would like to get another pick in the top 4 without giving up a 1st next year, they could really put some good pieces together with hopefully landing a superstar next year (or 2 hell maybe even 3 by adding Kane in FA ) |

the one thing the sabres have done well since Peggy took over is get those young free agents
flynn, ruhwedel, makarov, schaller
they may not be difference makers but they fill the pipeline with quality, something sabre fans are not use to seeing under tommy g |

That IMO was all fine and good 20 years ago but with how the NHL is more level due to the salary cap and the difference between a great goalie and an average goalie is about 35 goals against per season I would rather have someone as mentality stable (oxymoron considering we are talking about a goalie) as possible |

ehrhoff has a nmc modified ntc - Michael Pachla
Yeah. But he had said he wants out of buffalo and Murray made it clear he doesn't want people around that don't want to be there. And Edmonton should be on the cusp of being a contender. When nurse is ready for the big time and with ehrhoff and some goal tending they should at least make the playoffs... You would think. |

Look to the Dallas Stars, I found that out last night. Not saying it will happen but from what I was told last night it's possible. |
