When Patrick Kane came into the league, it was always tough to swollow seeing anyone else wear 88. I think I saw one other Montreal Canadien wear 88 for a game or two but it made me cringe. Although Kane has already complicated more in his young career, I hope Lindros can someday beat Kane to the Hall of Fame.

I was impressed with Hatch (in an NCAA setting), but the forward who impressed me most on that Union team was Daniel Ciampini.

Granted, I only saw him play in the two games of the final four and it was only against NCAA competition and you could argue that he's somewhat undersized for the NHL, but he'd be someone I would look at offering a contract to after his senior year.

Alderson was born in January of 92, he is 22. Not sure who's 24th bday Bill is talking about.
