Agreed! Hey Mikey, how about a list of possible draft prospects? Maybe a rundown of potential UFA signables and filling of the backup position? - Artyukhin76[/quote

At first I was angry at St. Louis for leaving. Why, I didn't want him to leave and that's selfish on my part I guess. All I can think of is game 6 in the 2nd OT in 2004
and him scoring the game winner. Then we win game 7 at home. Then he stays thru all of the crummy years that followed. The Lightning now have great ownership and are poised for a Cup run. Then he does not make the Olympic team (at first) and he is out of here (weird and childish really) gone. and the things he is saying in N.Y.. What's sad is I'm afraid he ruined his legacy here in Tampa Bay with the fans. I hope that does not happen and they retire his jersey but that may not happen now.sorry for babbling. For this lighting fan,It's time to forgive and move on. But it' tough to watch him in a Ranger jersey and I have to hit mute when they show him on t.v. or interviewing him. |

I doubt panik he has poor hockey iq I think Johnson and palat made him good in the ahl - todd1a
He will be a hell of a power forward. Just because he hasn't flourished unbelievably fast such as Tyler and Ondrej doesn't mean his time won't come. I've seen him forecheck really hard and show some nice offensive flare |

We bemoan boring bland interviews and comments (hello Sid), but as soon as a guy speaks from the heart hockey fans and writers turn into a bunch of chicks and dissect every last drop of meaning and inference.

Going off the 3 year contracts this is what I see with all Bolts RFAs.
Alex Killorn - 3 years 2-2.5MM per year
JT Brown - 3 years 1-1.25MM per year.
Andrej Sustr - 3 years 1.25-1.5MM per year.
Mark Barberio - Gudas deal 3 years 991K
Richard Panik - Gudas deal 3 years 991K, but Im iffy if they resign him
Anders Lindback - I have no clue what they do here.
Keith Aulie - sorry bud but your gone.
As for the Minors
Connolly, Brett - resigned
Kunyk, Cody - resigned
Korobov, Dmitry - I think he stays home in Belarus with KHL
Paradis, Philippe - probably resigned
Walker, Geoff - already gone
Landry, Charles - don't know |

Palat says he is 100% healthy now which is good, his shoulder/neck injury appears to be healed and no longer causing his migraine headaches. I feel he will be a stud almost 1pt per game player in the next couple years. |

I agree I was just going with the 3 year deal for everyone since so far that is what the Bolts are doing.
Killorn, Sustr, and possibly Brown will get more then 1 year deal. Brown can be a steal, he has offensive game that if it develops he will be a wrecking ball the way he skates and plays.

Yup. Brown has wheels, and has no fear. that is a great thing to have in any player. Add in his ability to be skilled offensively and he becomes more valuable as well, he has nice hands |

for sure. I love killorn, I was a little more excited about him in his rookie season than I was this past season, but I expect him to completely solidify himself into the top 6 for a long time, if he hasn't already. Maybe we could see a Killorn Stamkos Palat top line next year. Have drouin on that 2nd line with filpulla and kucherov, Or theres so many options its almost impossible to put anything together right now.
we know one thing, we won't be having another summer full of goalie questions. At least these questions are good questions to have. |
