Anyone know if Kesler and Lou had any issues when they played together in Van?
- powerenforcer

I know there was a rumour floating around that Kesler had hit on Cory Schneider's wife or fiancé at the time, before Schneider was shipped out. Just a rumour, though

You forgot to add that he's as dumb as a box of rocks.
- Ogilthorpe2

He does take some dumb penalties for sure. But he is an important player on the ice: crashing the net, giving energy. And off the ice: he helps keep the room light. Jamal mayers singled him out on NHL tonight for a key guy in the locker room

I really agree with you that he's the last guy anyone should want joining the Hawks. I've heard nothing positive about the guy away from the rink and we all know what is his first priority on the ice; looking out for #1

I want him to stay in Van and languish and become even more of a distraction.

Any idea who doesn't want Sharp to play in the middle? Is it that Sharpie prefers the wing or do the Hawks prefer him there?
Before anyone gets"'too exhausted" to answer this, I've never heard a reason he moved over to wing

I found that.....is it his defense that keeps him on the wing?

I've been told; that ship has sailed and so on. I just wonder if given the choice, to move on to another team or move back to the middle, what would #10 do? I believe he'd move over and develop a defensive conscience to remain a Hawk.

They could then add a bottom six center with good number on the draw that can play PK AND SKATE! McClemment was suggested earlier, IDK?
The Hawks keep assets get a decent 2C and are far better off IMO than sending Zues out with Kane

What do you think?

I think that I want nothing to do with the Patrick Sharp we saw the last 5 months. That guy sucks.

Fair enough. I just want nothing to do with the Ryan Kesler that I've seen over the last 3 years

I don't really want him either, unless he comes really cheap. I also don't want to rely on Sharp or Shaw at 2C.

An example of this scenario working can be found by looking right at the team that gave the Hawks such a problem in the middle of the ice. The Kings moved Carter over to create a huge advantage at Centre.
I just think that could be an option instead of moving one of the better playoff performers (aside from this year) on the team

Shaw would be serviceable at 2C, but the Blackhawks are a championship team and serviceable just doesn't cut it. Which line-up of centers would you want for the playoffs next season:

Option 1: Toews, Kesler, Shaw, Kruger

Option 2: Toews, Shaw, Kruger, Nordstrom

I don't think Sharp will be moved to C. If he wasn't this year, I really doubt it will ever happen.

Sharp has said in interviews that he was willing to move back to center if that's what the team wants. The fact is hasn't leads me to believe that Q doesn't want him there for some reason.
