No. not really. Rozy is fine. And Versteeg? A throw in to a team that needs to get to the floor? Maybe.

If I didn't believe that Dahlbeck had a legit shot, I wouldn't post it.

I wouldn't even recommend such nonsense..

His style of skating is what destroys his ability to actually defend..

Leddy needs to know when to slow it down and when to speed it up - he doesn't understand that...

He lacks timing, and puts himself in bad situations, not to mention has no idea how to really time a stretch pass..

The kid has the potential to be elite but his hockey sense isn't there. Obviously these are all opinions but I think Leddy overvalues his skill-set.

That's why he's playing #5 when everyone is healthy.

I'll second Eli on Dahlbeck. Can't see why he couldn't get his feet wet on the 3rd pairing next year. He looks solid.

Dhalbeck is ready for the NHL - a few games of course but not 82 games.

Bollig at $550k is very nice and a great 4th liner. Bollig at $1.25M is a different story. If he continues to improve and adds more offense, then fine. TBD on that offense thing.

That's how I look at it. Not that he needs to go, per se...but rather, does he need to be at that cap hit?!?!

I agree with the 550 K, not that it means a hill of beans but once the league caught up to Bollig in the fight card, he got his arse handed to him more times than not. He'll be the modern day Maggie, he'll show up to the dance .........and lose. sometimes that is the quickest way for your team to lose momentum when your supposed tough guy gets beat on in certian games. now to the revelant stuff, my vote: if Kane say's it is OK.... Vermette, then you groom McNeill, don't lose TT and he stays in Rockford, & maybe Danault makes it also next year, be happy with Vermette, McNeill & Danault as the new Hawks come the fall,

Yeah, I am not home to check, but pretty sure he was on both the Under 19 and Ubnder 20 World Junior Tournaments when John Tavares was playing in those tourneys. I have all those games loaded noto a separte disk drive (thibk I will ever a) find something if I do look for it or b) know where to look?)

He didn't jump out at you like a big scorer guy, but had hands, and was really physical on the wall with some short area quickness. And he was pretty physical on that Swedish team that wasn't...

The thing is every year prospects get more complete.
So the kid already has an area of expertise across the pond as penalty-killer.

If soneone thinks he can come to the pro game keep up and tenderize St. Louis
meat, far be it for me to put a damper on him. I am also certain he is bigger than 205 he is listed, but we will see.

Yeah right.... Before I stopped playing semi-pro/senior league hockey - the sport was almost anarchy.

I don't even know with what the refs refuse to acknowledge now.

That was the idea behind my trade proposal for Anisimov; dump Leddy and Rozy and get bigger in the middle, essentially straight up for Freddy.
I cant imagine anyone taking Versteeg off Bowman's hands

Right now TT is a hybrid between Mikael Granlund and Erik Haula.

and since they have shown some expertise at the pro level even that is a stretch...

I already have on HF boards and the consensus of Nucks fans was take it an run and don't look back.

Although my deal was a 3-way deal with the Flames with Hayes and Rozy going to the Flames for a 1st round pick that went to the Nucks.

So in the end the Nucks got TT, Bickell, Rundblad, Hawks 1st and Flames 2015 1st.

Hawks got Kesler at 50%

Flames got Hayes (rights, which are worth a 2nd round pick alone) and Rozy for their 1st in 2015.

Hawks get Kesler @ 2.75 and about 10 mil in cap space.

Hawks give up basically nothing but TT and Bickell.
