Yeah, I am not home to check, but pretty sure he was on both the Under 19 and Ubnder 20 World Junior Tournaments when John Tavares was playing in those tourneys. I have all those games loaded noto a separte disk drive (thibk I will ever a) find something if I do look for it or b) know where to look?)
He didn't jump out at you like a big scorer guy, but had hands, and was really physical on the wall with some short area quickness. And he was pretty physical on that Swedish team that wasn't...
The thing is every year prospects get more complete.
So the kid already has an area of expertise across the pond as penalty-killer.
If soneone thinks he can come to the pro game keep up and tenderize St. Louis
meat, far be it for me to put a damper on him. I am also certain he is bigger than 205 he is listed, but we will see. - wiz1901
Is there really a potential roster spot for Rasmussen in the fall?

Just checked the score.
So much for the Rangers.

That was the idea behind my trade proposal for Anisimov; dump Leddy and Rozy and get bigger in the middle, essentially straight up for Freddy.
I cant imagine anyone taking Versteeg off Bowman's hands - reeder16
I know. The fatal flaw is we can't think guys suck and expect to get a good player for them. That is Canuck or Leaf fan thinking.
CLB has their version of Leddy. and he already is better. Murray. |

Do you have any easier questions? - grinder10
The better question is why every team wants him?
If tams view him as a valuable prospect then why not sell him?

For Ranger fans supposedly being so educated, and such great fans it is astonishing to me they are blaming this series on "lucky bounces". Unreal. - CaptainBlackhawk
Meh. Their team is getting their asses handed to them. They were already a sensitive bunch before the Final even started. |

Which only depresses me further, since the Blackhawks would've beat those guys too...

I was told; Kruger and Leddy would be too much for Anisimov and then added Rozy as negative value to even it up |

I don't even want to think about it. Its the Kings' year. Every bounce is going their way and they are taking advantage of it. |

2 NHLers from the 2011 draft alone with an outside chance at 5 more from the same draft is good drafting. |

I'd rather see Eller in an Indian head than Kesler because of the price tag, injury history, and relative ceiling Eller brings(hasn't ye reached). - Bjm84
I'd rather feel like Eller was more than the Jekyll & Hyde player I saw this last season before I trade for him.
And tell you what- I had hoped the Hawks drafted Tinordi, but never saw him for more than he was.
To trade for a guy who will never be more that a 3rd pair guy because of his lack of short area quickness, I cannot see TRADING for him, because you are going to have to over pay and probably never gonna get value, just bigger in an area you could be seasoned 3rd pair pro if you set the bar that low... |

Well if sign a guy and bring across you probably aren't looking to fortify Rockford....the quex=stion becomes can a Euro pro fit the Hawks from October.

I meant, Elbows made a comment about Canucks fans and I replied, "I'm surrounded by them". It really had nothing to do with draft history of either club. Just a laugh at the expense of them |

Lucky. He has been all over the place. Shots are just hitting him. - Elbows15
(Had to go back to find this)
Disagree, Nester - he's squared himself up to every shot - certainly in the third, but in the second too.
He's just on his game. |
