I don't get why people say that the goaltending is going to be worse. We don't know that yet. While it is a big question mark, I'm not about to say right off the bat it's going to be worse.

Had the team been able to score a minimum of 2 goals a game, then maybe Enroth would have been able to get a few more wins last year when Miller wasn't in net.

Me neither. Neuvirth put up good numbers in Washington and that teams defense has been a trainwreck for a long time.

Again fans(maybe not you) have a McEichel hard on and are setting themselves up for disappointment. People are going to lose their minds if they don't land one of them. Me if we do awesome, if not I trust TM. In the end I'll still get up and go about my day.

It seems from what I've heard that Malkin is a bit of a malcontent there at the moment. I think he's sick of playing second fiddle to Crosby all the time.

I wasn't saying you, I'm saying in general. If the sabres aimed for Mceichel and fell a little short they still draft a really good player. If they aim for the playoffs and fall a little short the fanbase will probably throw a tantrum and they'll probably set the rebuild back.

Yea fair enough, im just of the opinion that if you're not trying for the playoffs, you should be looking to add elite talent.

IMO, if he really wanted a playoff team he'd be looking at the better players in FA anyways so I'm not all that worried. I won't be disappointed if we miss out on McEichel but I'll probably be very upset if we're drafting somewhere around 9th as our best pick.
