Depends. Flyers have 2 options. Get under the cap before Season starts then put Pronger on LTIR or Put Pronger up on LTIR last day of training camp and use that money on call ups until Day one and then demote them.

That is a heck of a question. On paper in a second. There's a lot you can do with an extra $4/5 million and have the team peak with its young, unproven, defensive assets.

Giroux has had 2 seasons where he finished in the top 3 in scoring, 1 MVP nomination, is a proven player and a prove playoff performer.

Im not willing to trade that for 1 years potential at this point.

I personally would not trade that for a player that has 1 season under his belt.

When Mackinnon accomplishes what Giroux has I'll agree. Until then one is a proven star and 1 is a player with great potential.

I don't know one way or the other, but I do believe that Waters bought Pink Floyd a while ago. I'd be really surprised if he isn't on it.

I thought if you sent down a one way contract, they had to clear waivers. Or...maybe if you waived them and they cleared, they were assigned to your AHL affiliate?
