Did you see Nick Drazenovic and Bobby Farnham last week? lol
Farnham was sitting in traffic and asked for jokes, saying the best one gets a retweet.
Drazenovic tweeted him a screenshot of Farnham's stats page lol. |

Far enough. I don't like the shootouts that much but it is what it is.
Keep it simple: 10 minutes OT of 4 on 4 and then if it's still tied, call it a tie. It's fair to all and none of that shootout BS. - errey12
Yeah, I don't really get the 7 minutes of overtime thing. I like the 4v4 but I think the 3v3 may be fun to watch too. |

It just gets old, I am an Eagles fan...you have no idea the amount of ish i get from them over and over again for being a Pens fan. After 10 years, the Cindy is crying again just gets old and played out. - Thorny
That's your fault for being an Eagles fan. Has nothing to do with your allegiance in other sports, it's just a bad decision. |

Samuelsson signed his qualifying offer of 1 year $550k...
All these one year deals, is there another lockout coming that we don't know about? |

This is big years for Megs and Sammy. Both are playing for a longer contract that could be 1 way...

It leaves a lot of room for the Pens to basically do whatever they want next year. If the Cap goes to $75 million like projected for next year, then the Pens are going to have $33 million in cap space. Granted they will have a ton of holes to fill in the roster, but if most of our D are on entry level contracts it should help give Rutherford a lot of choices on the offensive side of things and goalie. |

Kopitar embodies team concept. You can't argue with two cups and a WCF in 3 years as one of the captains. His 200 ft game is pretty much unmatched. I won't argue with success. |

Haha finally that pops out today.
I hate this part of the year. Not much really happens but something big can happen at anytime and it gives me gray hair. Someone should ask GMJR if he called the Jets yet, I'm sure he would be willing to tell us. |

Malkin > Kopitar - Orpik44
I'll give you Crosby, but not Malkin. Malkin's difference in offense, to me, does not offset how much more of a complete player Kopitar is. Both fantastic players, though. |

Bennet's not that expendable. The point of trading for Kane would be to add a top 6 forward to our minuscule pool of top six forwards. Sending Bennett in the package would leave us with the same hole in the top six that we had before. Not saying it'd be a side ways move, we'd definitely improve, but a top six of
Kane-Crosby-Hornqvist
Kunitz-Malkin-Bennett
looks a hell of a lot better than
Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis
Kane-Malkin-Hornqvist
Ideal trade would be Sutter, two D prospects (one blue chip and one not so much), and a first. |

Penguins past season cannot be blamed on just crosby it was a total team meltdown with mediocre defense is why the choked against the rangers im a die hard penguins fan but I knew after game 5 they would lose that series they all stopped playing because they thought they had the series wrapped up..... |

One of the positives that can be taken out of the last postseason was MAF's play. Aside from the late-game meltdown in Game 4 against CBJ, he actually played well. Maybe not 2008/2009 well, but definitely a major improvement. |

Does it though? I dunno, Bennett hasn't proved a damn thing, I actually think the 2nd top 6 looks way better than the 1st.

So you'd trade Sutter, Pouliot, D'Agostino, and a 1st for E. Kane. I think Winnipeg would be very happy about that. |

Ah yes. The unavoidable Martin as part of the package comment that comes in every Kane to Pittsburgh conversation. At this point in the story someone will inevitably point out that Martin has a NTC that he won't waive for Winnipeg, at which point everyone will agree that the roster player going is Sutter, at which point someone will mention Winnipeg's win now mentality that makes this deal implausible.
This pipe dream is circular. |

Dude, I wasn't arguing with you, in general. There's a handful of players I'd take over Malkin, and Kopitar is one of them. However, if someone asked you to pick 1 center to start a team with, and you DON'T take Crosby, that's just fanatical homerism. |
