Yea sounds like a good time. Do they have any big rivalries with any teams? I would love to catch a nice rivalry game as my first experience there. - ZootAllures
While it may not mean as much as it used to, Rochester v Hershey is the oldest rivalry in the AHL.
Back in the late 70's and the 80's, the AHL was such a great league, and when Hershey came to town, it was a hot ticket...I also remember waiting in line for hours for playoff tickets...good times. |

I would not be shocked if another D was brought in. - thatsapickle
We have 9 D now counting Pysyk, McCabe, Ruhwedel and Risto. Maybe we'll put Weber on waivers... |

I wouldn't put Girgensons and Zadorov in that class. They are good young prospects and their tenacity and size respectively makes them desirable to fans but neither has the potential to be anything close to what Reinhart and Ristolainen could be. - Sabresfan-365
If Girgensons, Zadorov and a pick get me a player like Pat Kane, I would do that every time. |

I would say we sign one more to keep Rudy as a 7th and keep Pysyk and Risto in the AHL. |

I'd hope we would try and trade webber before just waiving him. Even if it's for a late round pick it's better than nothing. |

I think Pysyk will be in Buffalo this year and occupy a spot on the 3rd D pairing.

Spent part of my first "real" paycheque on world juniors tickets for this year, having Weber play 20 mins a night on the sabres will make going to it so worth the ridiculous price and having to endure Weber for another 6 months |

it was hamilton about 10-15 years ago. Some of those games were absolute bloodbaths. Too long ago and I was top young to remember a ton of the players but jean luc gran pierre (spelling) was a monster. A few of the games had full line brawls. |

Chicago got us last year, Marlies the previous 2 times. Yeah, we don't like the Marlies very much. Times might be changing though, no more MacIntyre, Brennan, or D'Amigo. Those 3 single handedly beat us most of the time. - amerks

Did you happen to read far enough into the article to see that the next step in the bidding process happens on Tuesday? And that Pegula is one of 10 "groups" that submitted non-disclosure documents. |

I did actually but I wasn't trying to make a big deal out of a potential bills move to Toronto, I was highlighting (mocking) the opening paragraph mentioning the feasibility study. I found it funny that they needed one.
Fwiw, the majority of Canadians can't stand the NFL and don't want it up here.
Edit: Should say the majority that have voiced their opinions that is. |
