I've grown to hate the word core when it comes to hockey but I think they've got it right they need to build a new one and it needs to be done in Rochester. You can't develop a winning franchise by dumping kids in over their heads. Excellent reed BOos. Makes we wonder how long we will be able to keep you.

Great write up, I think we're on our way to having one of the premier AHL-NHL organizations in the league. Very excited for the Amerks this year and beyond. I might have to make my way up to Rochester this season for my first ever Amerks game.

Definitely go. It's totally worth it. It's a fun atmosphere and the games are entertaining. If you like hard hitting, in your face hockey, you'll find it in the AHL.

Seems they have a good rivalry with Syracuse and Lake Erie. Not sure how often they'll play Lake Erie now that they're in a different division this year though.
