I remember people sort of praising Edmonton for doing a great job of keeping Sharks shooters to the outside that night.
when did that become the rallying cry for fans of teams that just awful defensively? |

Pacioretty at 4.5 over Benn at 5.2?
For what benn brings to the table that contract has to be up there for one of the best - NoobasaurusRex
Benn didn't become a PPG player until he paired up with Seguin. put Max with a centre like Seguin and he scores 80 points too. not much separating those 2 players. |

So this is about David Desharnais vs Kyle Turris. I am pretty sure if you call your GM Bergevin and ask him if he'd trade Desharnais for Turris, he would probably want to slap you silly. Turris' overall game is much better than Desharnais. I am confident Turris is going to get better, I am skeptical Desharnais will. |

I definitely think maxis patches is a top 5 LW but benn and hall are 1/2. Benn was voted 1st line LW this year for a reason, i think he bring a much better overall game.
JB .79 ppg career (playing with trash his whole career until this year)
MP .67 ppg career
Like I said, not trashing MP but benn is the best LW right now with hall a 1B. |

All (contracts) star lineup? I'll give it a try
Hall-Tavares-Voracek
McDonagh-Doughty
Honrable metnion: Jamie Benn, Erik Karlsson
Could've gone with Karlsson or Pietrangelo but I think in a few years Doughty will be a bargain. Voracek at 4.25 is a great one imo although it does expire in 2016. |

oh my god who did that? I closed my eyes for half the game because the chances they got were so good. Couldn't even count how many scrambles in front where Scrivens miraculously came up with the puck went down. One of the best goaltending performances I've ever seen |
