Way off topic Sens, but it was you doing the ribs way back when and you asked for some recipes wasn't it?

I'd say it's about 50/50 here in PEI. (With a strange gathering of NYI fans)

I think they'll have to (and should) wait till after training camp to decide on Nylander, to get a better gauge on how he can compete against bigger, rougher players. It should be based on what's the best team he can play for and still get good ice time. If he can get top 6 ice time in Sweden, he'd probably be better off there from an individual development point of view. In the AHL, he'd get a chance to play with a bunch of future team mates, so it would be the best from an overall team point of view. Other than stroking his ego as he lights up the league, I don't think the OHL would be a fit. No way does he get top 6 minutes on the big club.
Tough call, but I'd lean toward the AHL.

On a semi-related note, I like how they've filled the rookie camp roster with free agent, non-drafted players. For a lot of these guys, this is their one and only chance to ever make it in the AHL\NHL, so you can bet that the hustle level at camp will be intense. Hopefully this'll spur on the more talented guys.

No, just as is, olive, oil salt and pepper over M heat for 25 - 30 minutes (until cooked through). Delicious and tender.

I really dont see him making the big club this year. I would prefer to leave him in Sweden for another year if he will be getting top 6 mins.
Unless he shines in camp and can get top 6 mins in the AHL....then I would keep him here.
I do believe 2 years in Sweden/AHL would be good for him.

Just had our last feed of them. About 12 of us on Saturday and I asked how everyone wanted them. 2 wanted a rub and saucy, the rest just the plain o,s&p. Not a rib left...gluttons.

Only 2 wanted rub and saucy? That's the only way to eat BBQ'd ribs.

Was speaking to Doug MacLean in the pub this weekend. He's not even a Leafs fan. He's a Scabs fan.

Medium. They are just plain good without the sauce. Taste the pork, tender but firmer than the fall off the bone recipe - yummy. Don't get me wrong, I'll do the slow 225 degree 6 hour deal as well, but every time the majority like the plain olive oil, salt and pepper. Plus I'm done grilling in no time and can do 11 racks at a time without fuss.

I am going to try smoking the ribs in a smoker as well when I can stomach having ribs again.
