I just have to update it on the company site. It's a difficult site to navigate, very tedious and slow.

The kid letter is simple, I just am suggesting a fun activity for the PTA's Night of entertainment.

I haven't written up a resume in years. I'm 26.

They're revamping the employee site and scan resumes now, and actually recruit candidates in that manner. Otherwise I wouldn't care.

I'm happy where I'm at, but it's foolish not to play the game if they're looking to promote from within. Especially since it's a matter of uploading a few snipets of info.

Thanks. I'm not actively looking though. it just looks good when the bosses see you being a bit proactive.

biggest issue is I don't want to have a long commute or relocate.

i used to have to commute 1 hour 30 mins to work... it sucks then i relocated but i understand if you have a family and they're in school

See I just come in here and Richard around, more so in the off season when it's just the same poop all the time.

My wife's job requires us to live in our current county. I'm OK with 60-70 minutes drive time, but the one opening I was asked to apply for was a good 90-100 minutes, in good traffic.

That's too much every day. I could see me hating work after a short while doing that. Problem here is, it's a limited area. Guys get supervisory or training positions here and only promotions to upper management or death see them leave.
