It's tart, but it's a wheat, brewed with peaches. It's a unique taste. My buddy said it's an IPA mixed with a cider. Not everyone's cup of beer, but I enjoyed it as a summer ale.
If you're in Wildwood anytime soon, they might still have it at Goodnight Irene's on Pacific. - Jsaquella
I'm so interested
Man, I love my IPAs, but one brewed with peaches?! Sign me up. |

So it all works out. Boom. - Giroux_Is_God
Yeah. I have a ton of work clothes that can fill in for casual wear-khakis & the like, and we have a small JC Penney's if I need a nice polo or button up shirt. There's a couple other places, but limited selection & higher prices means I wait until I need a few things before I head out. |

I liked it a lot, and I'm hit or miss with the IPAs and not a huge peach fan. I started summer drinking Sam Adams Summer ale & finished with the Dogfish.
You'd also probably love Cape May brewery. They have some really good and unique brews for sale. We have a crew that's there two, three times a week |

Collingswood... nice little downtown, the office is not far from there, somewhat ironic
I am late to the rule change discussion, happy the spin arama is gone but I see this as a year not unlike they year after the lockout where mere flatulence was get you 2 mins
Its going to take a season to figure out how to call things and even then it will be a lot of head shaking. Teams are going to practice ways to take advantage of the rules if there is a way
I hope the rules are not filtered down to the ECHL, the refs are horrible there anyway. They cant call it right in any league to start with, the rule book is going to be like the US tax code soon with much personal discretion. Strict detailed and prejudicial.
We are watching the death of the game in bits and pieces. Think about how much attention is paid to the game itself versus everything else and personal electronic media use at games. As long as people who are casual fans, corporate etc fill the arenas and dads and relatives are sucked into buying the logo stuff they will make a bundle, but it will be like people going to a concert who are more involved with their own stuff than the band and dont remember any of the music (not because they were wasted. Without the PECO power play announcement and music would people stop texting to actually watch it ? |

Some of them I like, others seem just artificial ways to increase scoring/power plays. It's tinkering and happens every year. I really hate the tripping adjustments and the puck over glass stuff just screams that they're trying to jump start offenses.
Collingswood is a nice area. I grew up in the town next to it, Haddon Twp. I don't get up there as much as I used to, we have a pretty content life here....and most folks visit us in the summer, anyhow |

I feel like people played the "death of the game" card plenty of times.

Irene's is a full on bar/grill. Good food, lots of stuff on tap. Right on Pacific ave at Poplar ave, two blocks from North wildwood
The Brewery is strictly a come in, taste their stuff, maybe buy a growler. It closes early-like 8 or 8:30, so it's not a long night out or pub crawling type place. It's at the airport, if you're leaving Wildwood on Rt 47, turn left onto Rt 9 heading south towards Cape May. Turn right at the 2nd light (Breakwater Rd), and about 1/4 mile or so past the second light, turn into the airport. There's a little strip mall type business park, and the Brewery is in there. it gets pretty packed, as the locals love it. |

Very meh on the rule changes. Hate the new tripping rule. See no reason to eliminate spin o rama shootout moves, like the leeway & seeming end of intent to blow, but lot of gray there - Jsaquella
i am in huge favor of eliminating the spinarama, for both the shootout AND regulation play penalty shot. it's a bull-poop, trick shot that a player would likely never use in a game on a breakaway. i mean, why even have the goalie in net at all if players can do that kind of stuff, like the lacrosse style goals etc. i'm shocked the league actually made a step in the right direction. |

Another step in the right direction is giving the ice a cut after regulation and before OT.
Less shootouts = yay |

i agree, but if they're going to do that, they might as well do at least a 10 minute OT before the goat rope ends the game. it would take longer to cut the ice than the 5 minute OT.
the real right direction is to the do the 10 minute OT at 5 on 5. 2 pts for a win, 0 for a loss, and have a tie if no one scores. simple. the end. |
