Thanks. I missed this. Renaud Lavoie is so far ahead of the rest of the weekend news cycle.

I think this is more basic housekeeping. Lots of other teams doing the same to stock their farm teams.

With seven more guys gone, that'll reduce the Canucks' roster to 27. Only four more cuts need to be made, I believe, and one of those will be Joacim Eriksson.

Solid win against some weak competition last night. But then, the Flames will likely be struggling for a while. I thought the kids looked good, Vey looked very poised, the Sedins had a strong outing. I look forward to seeing them play for keeps again.

Maybe it was just a fluky pre-season trio of goals against another teams 'B' squad, but I agree. The power play looked fantastic.....after all of four days or whatever of practice. I know the permanently-disenchanted fan whose hopes have been dashed his/her entire life might beg to differ, but Our team is going to slay this year.

This drink tastes a lot like I'm gonna have a hard time waking up tomorrow.

Flames had a less than solid NHL team out there, which is really not any different than it will be come October 8th, that said, it's about regaining confidence, which they look to be doing.

I like what I saw out of Jeffrey last night, its nice to know we have at least one guy in Utica that can come in and play reliable min if need be. He also can win faceoffs something this team hasn't solved if it is going to return to being a puck possession team.

I don't really know much about Cannata, has anyone ever seen him play? I thought he had a good period and a half this camp? He's the same age as Markstrom.

Reliable.

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't think that Markstrom would clear waivers. If he works his ass off in Utica and shows improvement he might raise his trade value to a 7th round pick.

So 27 players in camp including Hunter, Bo an Nick Jensen...exciting times!
