They're getting badly outplayed and outshot. 45 shots on net. Goaltending can only keep the sens in it for so long. They're going to start getting really blown out.

I can agree with your point of allowing to many shots on goal. It was one of their biggest problems last year too, and I expected some improvement this season.

On the other hand, their PP was not up to Par last season, very predictable and not successful when needed. So far this season, I've seen a better power play, and the other big problem for the past couple of seasons was the difficulties getting the puck out of their own zone, and there are some good signs that this is something that looks much better this season.


Both goaltenders are much improved over last year, but this should not be something that the team should come to depend on, as every goaltender will get into a slump.

Well I watched the game, and you did not.

Darling was superb in the game, and if not for him, the Hawks could have easily lost the game.

If you apply Anderson's career SV% to his current shot totals it's pretty scary. If he wasn't playing above his ability as shown by the rest of his career he'd have given up another 4 goals by this point. That's an extra goal PER GAME.

Pretty good player yes. Elite goal scorer for sure. Bobby Ryan is good too though. Probably good for 25 goals a year.
