still missing the point.

no one's content just to control play. we want to win. and we didn't. but this idea that we should always beat teams like calgary is ridiculous. every night is a dogfight. there are no easy victories. especially for a team like the oilers.

but we controlled the play and played fairly well overall. this isn't taking solace, it's a fact. it's a positive point considering the loss and something to build on.
we're going to play well and lose many games. as we're going to play poorly and win some. it's the nhl. this is how it works

and I think in the oilers case, even more so. if we don't play our A game, we're going to lose more often than not. against anybody.

we cant afford the few collapses or mediocre tending or we lose.
but we played well overall and controlled the play imo. this is a good thing and hopefully we build on it
