If he stays on the top PP unit with the Twins he's gonna get some decent point totals or sure. 20 goals seems optimistic though since Willie is protecting him 5v5 by giving him bottom 6 minutes at ES.

Wondering where Horvat will end up after 9 games? How many guys you can shelter or if Horvat is ready to take a regular shift and maybe do some pk work?

If Horvat stays, are we sending Bit Tom to Utica? Or trading Hansen or Kassian?

Smiles and a feel good story aside, which I'm thankful for, will only get you so far…talent on the other hand, will carry you to the playoffs.

Well that and good coaching.

As pointed out by Sportsnet the other day it is virtually impossible to get a forecheck turnover in the offensive end once you lose the draw

That's why Manny was such a huge part of our team.

I don't think bo needs to be sheltered. His 2 way game is dynamite. Could def improve on O. I think Mathias or Richardson sit

I'd rather play Bo, let him become one as part of his game.

He would have to go on waivers and would get picked up for free

Then he might see the press box...

Same. I'll let you know.
Looked up wine pairings and it is very versatile and said to be great with anything. So we got a German Riesling and Californian Pinot Noir!
Apple pie with homemade caramel sauce.
Whiskey and port for a digestive.
The process.

Congratulations to Vey on getting his first goal

What an exciting game to watch, I was especially impressed with the play of Hammer and the top line!!!

Also, I was very happy to see Mark Donnelly Hang up the skates!

Not sure how it pairs with Turducken, but I like to stick with Savignon Blanc from New Zealand. Riesling and Chardonnay are both on the black list at my place.

I don't understand the vitriol for Kassian, at this point in his career he is a bottom 6 forward. He put up excellent numbers last year as a bottom 6 forward, he was 73rd overall in the league in even strength points per 60min and tied for 1st on the Canucks.

He doesn't get PP or PK time so his ice time can be misleading but only the Sedins and Vrbata had significantly more ice time at even strength than him last night.

Daniel-15:05
Henrik-14:24
Vrbata-13:19
Richardson-11:42
Higgins-10:48
Burrows-11:36
Bonino-12:12
Kassian-11:15
Matthias-9:20
Vey-11:38
Dorsett-8:34
Hansen-9:13

Quit panicking about him, he is the only player in our lineup with size and skill. He was skating well last night and made some great passes as per usual.

I was looking at Sancerres but am having a Riesling renaissance right now. My all time favourite is a big, rich, buttery Californian Chardonnays. I guess I won't be invited to any Wine & Cheese socials at your abode.

I suspect the Riesling will be appreciated during the dinner prep. The Pinot is definitely
on the table for dinner.

The Germans definitely know how to handle a Riesling. Personally, not a huge fan of Cali's oakey Chadonneys, but their Cab Savs and Zinfidels are amazing. It'll be a Joie Muscat and a Cali Cab for us tonight.

Last night made me feel, for the first time in a while, like I can be a 'hockey fan' this season instead of 'critical armchair frustrated hockey analyst'.
Exciting.
Down on my vay-cay, got really good, really cheap 10 rows back tickets to Lightning vs. Habs tomorrow. Taking my 75 year old dad to his first hockey game. He thinks he likes football; He loves hockey, he just doesn't know it yet.

Shot well over a century but it was a great day. We played the 'Rigde Course' at Predator Ridge. Highly recommend it if you find yourself in the Okanagan.

I always enjoyed a nice grape Ripple. Or, an orange Mad Dog. Sometimes, a cherry Cisco.
