I was at the game Saturday night. Sitting on the penalty-box side of the ice, just inside the visitors' blueline, the on ice graphic display was pretty useless to watch and had to look at the screen to figure out what was going on. The player entry part was alright, props to Mark Donnelly for not lacing 'em up. The free beer was nice, and it wasn't too difficult to cash in on that offer more than just once.

In terms of attendance, at the start of the game there were a few empty spots in the lower bowl, but the upper bowl looked packed. Just goes to show that the real fans who can't afford the $200+ seats will show up, but the corporate tickets just go to waste.

Lots of giveaways during the game, in house band during intermission, overall decent game presentation.

Watched a bit of the Comets game on Saturday, Grenier looked really good. He is the forgotten prospect here and I hope he gets a call up this year. We could really use that size in our top 6. Archibald laid out a guy again, looked like it was a high hit when I saw it live but watching the replay it doesn't look quite as bad.

I was at the game too and I agree the on ice graphics were hard to see other than on the scoreboard! Good atmosphere, lots of energy in the building! Tried some of the new food choices the carve roast beef was cold but otherwise pretty good!

That's beyond painful. I imagine Hodgson is enjoying all of his minutes. Perhaps that's how we can motivate Kassian: "if you don't pick up your game Kass, we're going to send you back to Buffalo."
