I hate snow, or well...shoveling it/digging my car out of it anyway. I certainly wouldn't complain about the loss of that.

so while you're looking at the ice and watching the play does it matter? when you look up for the scoreboard, if you have to turn your head slightly is it going to matter?

is it perfect? nope. Does it matter? nope.

what matters is the guaranteed money the team gets playing there, along with their tv deal and the league's tv deal. New building, happy players. I don't think anyone cares about the scoreboard, it's about the team on the ice.
