Stortini has an A somehow and has been playing with Cousins and Straka. Maybe to protect Cousins if he runs his mouth too much.

He has an A because of how he conducts himself on a day-in and day-out basis. Very positive attitude, works his tail off, keeps everyone loose, does anything the organization asks of him. The Phantoms made him an assistant captain to show their young players that the way he carries himself (irrespective of his on-ice role) is something worth emulating.
Part of his job description right now is to create a little extra room for Cousins and Straka and to step in when Cousins gets under an opponent's skin. |
