That will help the 4th line a lot.

Not so sure it will help BSchenn and Simmonds have dominant Corsi nights like they did yesterday.

- Feanor

We'll have to see. Might not have dominant Corsi nights, but might put up more points, and score more goals. As long as they can hold their own defensively. And the Flyers always have the option of putting Bellmare back there in games where the have the lead and playing it situationally.

The AHL deal would have probably seen him sent to Reading... aka likely career dead end. Maybe going back to junior and putting up gaudy numbers will pay off for him.
- Tomahawk

I think he would have played on the Phantoms

Ideally, Goulbourne will gain a lot of confidence from pounding on those teens and then replace Stortini on the Phantoms next season.

He got busted for steroids after breaking Maris' record. Admitted it like 800 years later.

I thought that, but I think he was always destined for the A. I think he was offered the deal before all of the other moves were made, so maybe. I think they wanted the AHL only deal in order to keep contract slots open.

It's definitely good to have options.

BSchenn-Bellemare-Simmonds for the defensive zone draws.

Bschenn-Vinny-Simmonds for the offensive zone draws.

I know. He's a pretty solid 4th line player in the AHL though.

I think he blocked a shot and might have gotten hurt from it. I'm not sure they've announced anything yet

Stortini has an A somehow and has been playing with Cousins and Straka. Maybe to protect Cousins if he runs his mouth too much.

Was it Cousins who got 2-handed in juniors for mouthing off after an empty-netter?
