No way. Didn't you see yesterday's chart? VDV was clearly out best offensive player. Should be on that top PP unit due to his scoring chance +/-. |

Just had a slow start is all.
But really, that was a nice play all the way around. I'm hoping was Grossmann was REALLY SURE that he could do that, because if that things skips past him, it's an odd-man rush going the other way. |

If only he'd gone to Colorado, he and Talbot could have combined their car-selling powers. |

That was a sweet play all around.
Raffl digging out the puck, Van Damn made a great pass, and Grossmann!
How come everyone is missing the obvious trade?
EDM needs a center and Flyers need to balance the cap hit on return.
It's VLC for Petry. Duh. |

I still see a change is needed for this team. I am not per se giving up on Schenn but I think a trade of Schenn for a player of similar age but different skill set can work. I think the Flyers need a more skilled winger instead of the power forward or whatever type schenn is. Also I just feel a more natural winger would help tremendously and a team that wants a center could use schenn. Maybe a player like Tommy Wingles or could you get Nail Yakupov or Neiderreiter. I think having a more natural winger would help make this team fit better. My dream trade would be Vinny for Marleau. You can move Schenn back to center and Marleau can ride wing on the first line but sadly i don't think it would happen. |

Vinny is nearly immovable right now. With his amount of injuries the past 2 years coupled with his cap hit/length, I'm not sure ANY team would take him.
B. Schenn could be moved, but any trade the Flyers make right now would be from a position of weakness (although not as weak as it would have been before the Detroit game). Right now, they're going to sink or swim with him as part of the team. For better or worse, he's got to be in the top-6 right now. |

Most players i agree with the dealing from a position of weakness but i think Schenn is a little different because teams might also think they can get him to play to potential if they move him to center. For most of the other players I agree about dealing from a bad position |

That's not a pinch, that is a veteran defenseman seeing an opening, and smartly moving in a scoring a goal. |

I guess trading a young forward for a young forward would be less risky. But I've seen Schenn play to a high level in the past as a wing (portion of the 2012 playoffs, maybe the best Flyers forward in the Devils series and probably 4th best vs. Pittsburgh). I don't know what's happened since then, as he seems way more timid. I think he just needs more confidence. Let's give him 15-20 games as a LW and see if he can settle in. Took Jeff Carter more than a year to adapt. |

I wouldn't mind moving BSchenn for a similarly aged and proven natural winger. I would first prefer to move him for at dman if at all. Yakupov and Niederreiter are intriguing names. I'd also through out Baerschi. However, all 3 of these guys are less proven, IMO. Yakupov has the most potential but he is a polarizing player. As for Wingels, he's 26, more of a center and a bottom 6 player.
Vinny for Marleau would be nice but you'd definitely have to give up more. Marleau is still a legit top line winger. Still not sure what Vinny is at this point. |
