They can want all day long, but their price is crazy. First they want Anthony Mantha and now Nichushkin. I think B Schenn is more in the ballpark of the player they'd actually get. No way the Sabres are getting either of those guys unless they pony up other young assets, which isn't what they're looking to do.

I would make that trade in a heartbeat...I think Nichushkin has more value than B. Schenn though, so the Flyers would probably have to add something else to sweeten the deal.

No way. B. Schenn for Myers would be an absolute steal for the Flyers, especially with the Sabres knowing how they're hurting for D help.

So according to Dreger, they asked for Larkin and Kindl from Detroit and were rebuffed. So they ask an even bigger price from Dallas.

No matter what Buffalo fans say, Myers isn't that good and you are not paying for potential anymore after 5 years in the league. He is what he is at this point. If Myers was any good or still had a ton of potential, Buffalo wouldn't want to trade now that the actual cash to paid out on the reminder of his deal is less than his caphit. Unless of course they view his performance as not the worth the caphit or he has asked for a trade and is a lockerroom cancer.
