So Sharpie hurt...didn't look good. Who comes up from Rockford?

Personally, I'd like to see McNeil...who scored twice tonight for the Hogs. Seems like he's playing well (on paper anyway) without the benefit of seeing his game.

Eli, if you're out there, what are your thoughts? I know he's a RW and Sharp is a LW, but...

Probably be Regin with the call up?

What is going on? Last Sunday we loose 1 to 0 and the remaining fans on this site are on a melt down because the Hawks have not looked good. Now the Hawks played their best all around game for all three periods winning 5 to 0 and only a few posts about the game. If you are female doging when they loose than you should also give koodos to the team when they play great. Come on folks... Let's hear it!

5-0 in Montreal on Price and the ship was sinking this morning......its always the same issues with this group when goals dry up, not enough bodies to the net. Hawks got bodies to the crease and played a great game in almost every aspect (PP still needs A LOT of work). Good win and hopefully this sparks a nice run! Also i hope all the talk about a potentially crashing space ship will go away!

Leg injury bc Emelin is a dirty player and targeted his front leg as the main point of impact on the hit into the boards...thats what I saw at least, I am biased as a Hawk fan but its something he would do based on previous acts of goonery and intent to injure...i disliked him even before he took out sharpy bc hes always been a hack

Net front presence. Where did they score the goals from? Say it like ya saw it. Tonight they paid the price. Good on em.

Ya that Emelin hit was dirty , you could see him stick the knee right in there on Sharp . Very dirty , then he is over on the bench smirking HAWKS played a simple game got shots at the net and worked hard all night down low . Like they say keep it simple stupid . Like the lines combos ,and Q kept them together . Hope some of the Richards hate can take a break , he is playing very well right now . Great game by Crawford , very poised .New goalie coach is helping I think . Congrats to Toews on 200 GOALS !!!!!!!!!..GO HAWKS !!!!!!!!!

meh, Hawks played well. I'm not impressed with MTLs game at all, haven't been for awhile. Lot of individual efforts. Calling Emelin out for a stop along the boards is BS though. Take the win and move along without the ya he's a dirty SOB like you all know jack about him.

Just got in from the Rockford game, so I didn't see the hit on Sharp...

If it were my decision, I'd start with re-calling a center first and move Shaw to the wing.

Danault would be the guy I would first look at.

I am guessing Mark McNeill gets the call up after the two he got tonight.

That's all it really was...the sky wasn't falling as the minions attempted to portray...and they always spend time looking out when the back ups play.

McNeill would also be deserving of getting a look in Chicago.

TT is as pure playmaker as you can get, goals aren't his claim to fame.

However McNeil seems to be tearing it up. I know Danault was suggested as the call up but I'd be excited to see how McNeil handles the NHL. I'd be fine with either being called up.

Wasn't late at all. Totally clean hit. Looks like a hip issue, given how his right leg was pressed across his body. I would guess he isn't out for long, though they may bring him back slowly for LTIR purposes.

I think the Hawks only have 800K in cap room so I'd guess it's most likely going to be Peter Regin.

I wouldn't call it dirty, but he could have let up seeing that Sharp was in a vulnerable position.

The BS is a
stop along the boards by sticking his knee in on Sharps . Emelins always been a dirty cheap shot artist , should have been suspended last year , I forget what he did , but got off with a fine ..Better stay in the east where they play that cheap inferior hockey

In the handshake line after the Bruins-Habs series last year Lucic promised Emelin that he was going to kill him. He ddn't get to him soon enough for Sharp.

Actually, Emelin has been on the receiving end of some real punishment. Burrows was the last guy to give him a cheapshot. Lucic knocked him out of action fo a few months a couple years ago.
