I really wouldn't mind Bylsma. Got fired after a 51 win season and has a nice, brief record of success.

That said I'm not convinced Eakins is 100% the problem. Decisions like Aulie over Marincin for 'grit' purposes drives me up the wall, but problems run deeper. Not icing your best team is inexcusable but not like the team would be above .500 w/o Eakins. D is weak, C is weak, and goaltending has been terrible. That's on MacT and some regression from the goaltending

Hendricks is good with Gordon and Joenssu because they are asked and play similar game. If Hendricks was, and if Eakins thought he was, the player you claim: he should have been on that line the whole season, no?

Hendricks may have the work ethic but not the skill to play on the second line, nor to play with the two kids. He is not built for the second line nor is he built to play with them: that was a tactical error by Eakins-and it showed.
