He's but that incident with Eakins last season it tells me that no just Hall have a problem with eakins but lots of other players probly do,but again I just go back on how this team is playing and performing with the extra players MacT brough in and again there's no much positive under Eakins.

Aulie for Marincin is inexcusable. Aulie has been one of the worst D in OKC and for him to play over MM for 'grit' purposes is laughable. My god is this team ever hard to cheer for. Think I'll take this game off.

It wasn't the coaching in the past but the defence and goaltending however, it is now definitely the head coach.
You only have to look at how quickl;y and by whom the previous coaches were hired to see the Oilers shouldn't have changed coaches but GM's.
Look at Kruegers record in a 48 game season against only the much stronger Western Conference.
Players won't play for a coach they don't like in this day and age and they don't like Eakins so time for him to go.

Communication is the #1 most important thing for coaches these days(there's been multiple studies to back this up as well). If Mac T senses or knows about any rifts between players/coaches then he needs to either look at the coach or player(s) and do something about it.

Or when he gets muscled off the puck by Nathan Gerbe/anyotherreallysmallhockeyplayer, let alone what he might do when "big guy" comes at him. He also needs a helmet that fits him better. Plenty of times where he would adjust his helmet mid play while the opposing team was attacking.

people love drama. they eat that sh1t up when the media comes up with these ridiculous stories to get viewers. the media markets to a certain section of society who will swallow whatever they tell them

that whole Gatorade incident even being spoken of still just makes me laugh.

and id like to add that i think a lot of this teams problems are mental. i don't mean to marginalize our woes, as they certainly have huge holes no doubt. and are a bottom half team in the west at best right now. but i think its much more than that.
these kids don't have an ounce of confidence, they just lose and lose they were never given any insulation at the beginning of their careers to learn to win a little at a time.
they seem to wait for the other shoe to drop when things are going well. i don't think they played poorly at all against the nucks for example. but u could see those nuck veterans just knew they would get it done in the end when

Problem is that MacT sign Eakins for 4 years so he needs to hold back a bit,I'm sure he's praying that things could be turned around with Eakins or He's going to have to admit to made a mistake with Eakins,so far it looks like a huge mistake.
