They won't be able to create a fan base in Vegas. The population there is made up of mostly transplants who are not likely to support a team just because it's there (see Florida) and immigrants. Vegas is all about the night life, and has too much competition. Not to mention that it may be one of the only places that more people are employed at night than your regular day shift. They would have a hard time filling the seats. If anything, they should try baseball or football first. With baseball, their large Hispanic population would help ticket sales, and they play many more games during the day, which would be nice for visitors who want to get away from the casinos for a few hours. With football, it would be nice because you would be able to sell weekend packages to home games a lot more than any other city could dream of.

He is a complete waste of a roster spot that brings nothing to this team, we have McCormik that brings more. Who cares if he kills a penalty here or there, he's not even good for that and his act is old. Give him 1 game and then his dumb ass will get hurt or do something stupid and he will be gone yet again, hopefully for good.

That's over 200 miles in distance. Non issue IMO.

It's a four hour drive. Same as Phoenix. Anaheim is probably closer to Vegas.
