Not sure how long Josh Gorges will be out but should be interesting to see how well Myers plays without his blanky. Considering he hasn't been very stout with him it should be interesting.

What facts did he use besides an opinion? Overall Myers is a better defenseman but in their own end Gorges is more sound. He blocks shots, takes the body and plays better positionally. When the game gets out of the blue line Myers blows Gorges away. Myers seems to need to have a certain partner to play confidently, Tallinder and Gorges. Most other strong Dmen can play with many partners and not miss a beat. Many times they are the blanky, but Myers needs someone else to lean on.

When are you going to learn ? Logic has no place here.

That play last night was awful, no one would deny.

However, what else should he be doing on this team that he's not? Yea he should probably have a goal or two, but should he be responsible for scoring more than 26, 14,19, and 80?

No denying he got turned inside out last night . What defenseman in the NHL has not at times . They are not playing against slouches . But the haters just want to hate . Very sad . I thought Leaf fans were bad . But they actually are reasonable compared to what has developed in our forums.

Think it's more the team is sucking and the prospects that we have playing, we all had higher expectations of them. Everyone is under achieving. and no real golden boy in sight on the team. Nothing is clicking like it was sposed too. At the moment Zads and Risto look to be the current bright lights on the team going forward. Everyone else has dimmed to a 4w night light bulb.

Think it's more the team is sucking and the prospects that we have playing, we all had higher expectations of them. Everyone is under achieving. and no real golden boy in sight on the team. Nothing is clicking like it was sposed too. At the moment Zads and Risto look to be the current bright lights on the team going forward. Everyone else has dimmed to a 4w night light bulb.

I honestly hoped for more . But I have managed to keep my eye on the prize. Some here just go after the most visible target . I have watched all the games . Myers has not been near as bad as the haters in here would like you to believe. The chemistry between him and Gorges is developing nicely . Besides Ennis and Girgenson they have been the best thing about this sad team . We are having trouble getting the puck out of our own end as there is zero supports from the forwards. This constant hate fest from a few very bitter members of the forums is just stupid . They fail to see all the things Myers does right and dwell on the few mistakes he makes .

But that is the average Buffalo mentality. The just seemed to dwell on any negative they can find and never seem to be able to move on.

I can see losing 3-4, 2-3 or even losing by 2 cause of a empty netter. Figured it would take 20 games for them to get the chemistry going. Well might as well add another 10 and see what happens . Regardless of the feeling towards Pat K. He might be just what the team needs. But we need players completing passes, making plays and shooting the puck at the open spots of the net.

If you watch goal of the year highlights you will see a lot of top pairing defenders in the clips. Not only are they on the ice for a 1/3(min.) of the game but how else do you beat these elite defenders? If players could just walk around Ryan Suter easily I'm sure they wouldn't waste time with undressing him.
