Let's just hope he doesn't get hurt in the first period because he's too excited and misses a check and dislodges his shoulder on the glass.

EDIT: I am a Kaleta fan as well.

I know Patty has his haters . But I think you are correct . He brings a passion to the game that I have not seen with this team this year . Let's hope it is infectious.

.

He has some offense skill that we have seen in the past. (2 shorties,2 games) Hope he brings that and his PK skill and leaves the crash and burn behind.

He definitely has the energy the team needs. I wonder where he will slot in? I know I saw that he was paired with Moulson and Girgenson, but I doubt Ennis will be playing with McCormick and Hodgson.

It's at the point that it doesn't matter. He is considered a vet on the team. And sure the youngins have seem him around and his work ethic. Maybe he can help.

This isn't directly at you, but I swear I've only seen Leafs' fans say that Komarov is a 'pest'. He's never even stood out when the Sabres play the Leafs.

Just an odd observation(or lack thereof) on my part.

A few thoughts as I browsed multiple hockey forums, including the NHL individual team forums. Let's clear up a few things.

Myers has the potential to be a franchise D man, it's on him to put it all together to do so, coaching only gets you so far. As it stands now, multiple scouts and GM's league wide envision him as a 2 with 1 potential, and some of those would love to get their hands on him while he's still pre-peak career wise.

Zadarov and Ristolanian, you are looking at a D pair in the making. Upon their draft day, the moment Zad's fell to 16, it was the full intention of the organization to pair them up, they have off setting skill sets that compliment one another, as has been noted by multiple hockey insiders, including some very well known former defensemen who love this combo for the future.

As for Strachan, while anyone with the grit and determination to compete with consistency can make the team, bare in mind, there are plans for McCabe and Pysyk, especially Mark, whom many in the organization view as the leader of a 2nd D pair, or, a 3 if fans prefer.

As for the forwards, there is much more going on there then many know. Grigs and Armia will not see the NHL this season, that much I can tell you. And there is very high expectations for Baptiste as well.

currently watching "the switch" seinfeld episode. This just reminds me why this is undoubtedly the best sitcom of all time.

Yep. It's insane how much the larry character is almost an exact replica of jerry on seinfeld, you can definitely tell he wrote for the series

Blacklist season 2 is on my agenda. Only 8 episodes this season compared to last seasons 22, didnt really understand the reason for the change.

Larry's character is like George. Jerry and Larry wrote George based off how Larry acted in life.

I hope Kaleta lasts 1 shift before he torpedo's himself into the boards or makes some dumb ass play and he's out again. He's a useless piece of crap.

Thanks for the insight. Probably for the best to keep Armia and Grigorenko together in Rochester this season.
