Just out of curiousity, have you actually watched a good portion of Colorado's games? The only reason I ask if you've seen their games is because I haven't. I would think that they should be better than they are, but I made a comment about them being bad last night and one of the Avs fans that posts on here periodically said the defense is just not good.

You can't say that the players are trying to tank, because they're just not wired that way. I think losing Stastny has caused a few issues for them among other things. He played a bigger part there than a lot of us thought I think.

The only reason I ask if you've seen their games is because I haven't.

I would disagree. Gringo is finally being developed the way he should. Let him get an entire season under his belt in the minors. He is excelling there. Plus who would want him a part of this team and atmosphere right now.

Kaleta is Kaleta. Maybe he changed and will not make boneheaded decisions. But honestly who cares. We in Buffalo are counting down the days till the draft. there are no expectations here and most want them to finish last. So play kaleta let gringo develop. The only way i would bring him up is if we get destroyed by injuries

To be honest, I didn't find the St. Louis game that entertaining. Okay, so they dropped the gloves a few times in the name of the tired old cliche of "sticking up for each other"...and then they melted and ended up getting run out of the building as a result.

Myers getting burned and then Weber and Delauirers taking dumb penalties made the game a blow out.

I agree. The key here is now watchability, something this team seriously lacks.

Some scoring would help make them watchable.

I'm sure it will change, but at the Sabres current scoring pace, it is possible Wayne Gretzky will have scored more goals in a single season by himself then this Sabres team does a whole.

IMO and IMO only, the should just throw the puck on net and go to the net more and maybe they get lucky, keep shooting and stop trying to be fancy. They have no speed or drive when they are bringing the puck in the zone, they are to slow.

Atleast Weber was standing up for the team like his teamates where doing as well, the Delauirers penalty was stupid on his part and cost them, not that they were going to win but it would have looked better.

This is why I think McDavid is key. I know I know luck, lottery etc etc. They need to land him. He has another gear. He will back everyone off.

Did Steen do something to Nuevirth? I wasn't watching closely at that point but all I remember is Weber grabbing him after the play was done and getting a penalty

I would like to see a trade for a " number 1 center" someone with some talent. Hodgson is useless and Ennis I still don't think he's a number 1.
