I still don't ever see them moving him for a package. It potentially has the Phanuef trade written all over it. Calgary got what seemed like a haul, and it turned out to be highway robbery by Toronto

Why would you guys want to trade Tyler Myers? He's young and the general consensus around here is that he's awesome. Great, young, giant defensemen are not easy to come by and for a rebuilding team this makes zero sense to me? Why would you even want to trade him and what would you seriously expect back?

I look at it like this: Toronto was wallowing in mediocrity before they made that trade, and they are still wallowing in mediocrity. When all is said and done, they really were no better or worse off after making that trade. I consider a trade robbery if it actually makes a material difference in the win column.
