Who said give up? The fact of the matter is that they aren't close to being bonafide top 4 NHL defensemen. So you can't just assume there isn't going to be a drop off on our blue line.

Yes, our forward ranks are deeper, but it's mostly with 2nd and 3rd liners. The D has more top end talent.

Risto Zadorov McCabe Pyzyk

Its not about today. Myers is good. Trading him weekens this team. Will get us assets to make us better in 3 years. Its all about McDavid. My opinion the more they win the more likely the trade.
