Scroll on TV mentioned that Russ Brandon isn't sure the stadium will be suitable for play for the NEXT Bills game...yet it took until late today for the NFL to do something about the game in just a few days...

I'm fairly certain that the NHL heard what the government officials had to say about the Bills game and decided they were better off to just postpone the Sabres game tomorrow.

In a way, I understand why they didn't cancel the one Tuesday, because SJ was already here, and with it being a West Coast team, rescheduling is a huge pain. Just glad they decided it was better to postpone tomorrow's though.

Nope. And there's like 10 foot piles of snow at the ends of all the side streets off of South Park. Took a walk to Rite Aid earlier through the 5 feet of snow that's in the street. Had to climb down the snow bank and then back up to get back to my house.

I'm fairly certain the NFL knew this game wasn't being played on Sunday, but wasn't going to announce anything until a new date and location was finalized.

correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure the sabres game was canceled well before the bills made anything official about moving the time and location

Nope. But thankfully I have snowpants, a nice warm coat, and some pretty great boots.

yeah i understand...it just sucks being stuck in the house all week and then not seeing our sports teams play, makes it even worse. I need some sort of morale boost here

The difference is that the NHL has months to find a spot for that game. The NFL does not. That game needs to be played sometime this week, and somewhere.

They just opened the Rite Aid that's at the end of my street this morning. I made the trek over there for dish soap, some Diet Coke, and snacks. I had plenty of actual food as I just went shopping on Sunday.

The team hasn't even been able to practice, so really, how fair is it to them? Might as well just say the game is going to be forfeited and give the Jets the W.

No. I realized when I was halfway down the street that I didn't grab my ID. Plus I didn't really want to add that much weight to myself. The less weight I had, the less I kept sinking into the 5 feet I was being supported by. I have a few things in the fridge though. A couple Sam Adam's and a few Angry Orchards. Plus a bottle and a half of wine.

No, I actually have the football game on. I don't think I would get the Habs game here. The NHL network was showing Philly/Minny.
