I just saw that. Sad how the guy died out here in Alden.
By comparison, there were 29 deaths during the blizzard of 77. |

I don't think you'll know a final number for a couple weeks, especially with rain and warmer temps to come. |

That's probably true. The rain this weekend is going to cause more issues with storm drains and roofs.
My wife works in East Aurora and they got 3 and a half feet yesterday and now worried about the roof there. She hasn't worked since Monday. |

If there were plenty of jobs, taxes were better etc, I'd move back. The people are much better in WNY than down here in Floriduh...
Snow is preferred to threats of tornadoes and hurricanes. |

Southwest Virginia is where it is at.
You still get four seasons but the summers are not too hot (usually). The winters are mild but you get some snow (usually).
The biggest problem is it is remote so good luck finding a job.
Fortunately my company lets me work from home so I don't have to worry, for now. |

Gotcha. Job keeps us here too. Tough to replace two decently paying jobs easily. Also not really allowed to go since the ball and chain wants nothing to do with that weather again. |

I couldn't handle the humidity down there to live there 24/7. Winters would be good though. |

I hate the weather and taxes here. My house is paid off, no debt and just building my savings/investments so I can retire early in a few. Texas and Nevada are my choices atm. |

This might not be the best example in the world, but the Raiders game last night is the reason why teams love veteran players.
Justin Tuck a 10 year vet, called a TO after two younger players (Khalil Mack being one of them) started celebrating after a sack and not realizing down and distance.
If Tuck doesn't get that time out called, its probably a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct for celebrating.
Young players make crucial mistakes, and veterans help them learn how to win. I think last night is an example of that |

I agree. I do not do a ton outside during the summer. I am mainly indoors. When "winter" arrives. i'm outside a lot. I do love the "winter" here. |

According to what was said last night, it would only have been a 5 yard encroachment penalty, but your point still stands. Every team needs players that know how to win, and have done it before. |

I guess it would have been unsportsmanlike because it would have prevented the Chiefs from running a play while the clock was running. You can't snap the ball with defensive players in the backfield.
On a regular off sides the Chiefs could have took a shot to the end zone, and the O-Line would have had to move for it to be encroachment |

out of college with a Civil Engineering degree, i was offered 4 jobs three in Indiana and 1 in WNY.. the three in Indiana were all within 3k of each other.. the one in WNY was about 15k less... plus i had my gf (now wife) here. that is the end of that story. |
