Kootenay lost last night for the first time since Reinhart was sent back.
His stat line in a 7-3 loss: 1G, 2A, -1 - stashu
I wonder what his stats would be on a better team. |

Much like Drouin, I expect him to take his lumps and come back strong and motivated next season. |

Yeah, apparently they're bad, but they went on a streak once he came back (winning their first 3), so a 3-1 record still isn't anything to sneeze at.
Besides, isn't it better for us as Sabres fans if he has some "struggles" and isn't surrounded by stars?
And btw, he's got 10 points in 4 games.

Yeah, that's weird...so I guess they won 4 of 45 since he's been there and not 3 of 4.
So weird how that one page isn't as updated. |

Eh not worried. That should be the last thing on peoples minds.
They need to not focus on the stadium and more on getting the snow off the roads so people can you know live life. |

They're asking for people to come down and help dig it out, but there are driving bans everywhere. I still haven't had a plow come down my street. The snow started Monday and it's now Thursday. There's been not 1 plow that's come down my street. |

It's the County causing the problem. They are not plowing their roads, some of which need to be plowed before they can do the local streets. Probably because they are busy on the thruway.

We live in a society, not in a restaurant.
People don't get to place orders - we elect leaders to decide what ought to get done first with the resources everybody complains about giving them.

Not really anyone's fault. You cannot prepare for 6+ feet of snow in less than 24 hours. Buffalo or not.
Plows can only do so much. Plus they cannot go out during the storm as that only creates risk for them/ the county/ the state. |

I look at how "leaders" respond during a crisis first and foremost come election time
If a florida governor responds properly during a massive hurricane, I will re-elect him/her
If there is still poop on the side of the roads 5 months later, he/she is fired
How that mayor got re-elected after Katrina, I will never understand |

disagree, plows should have been on the roads non stop since the storm started
that is their job |

I'm going to guess that if I could get down my street I'd be fine, since I live right off of South Park. I know they were working on clearing that out yesterday. But they said the side streets here in South Buffalo probably wouldn't get done for another day or two. |

Then wait until March to let me know how the County performed.
There was six feet of snow Tuesday. Another 2 - 3 feet coming today and tomorrow. Literally, a year's worth of snowfall in 3 days. |

There is so much the plows were getting stuck. Not to mention the cars that were stranded that the plows couldn't get around.
The real issue, is that people are stupid and didn't heed the warnings to stay home and not try and go out in the storm. Plus then you have the people who didn't get snow to the north that decided they were going to try and drive into the areas that did get affected heavily for whatever reason. They got stuck because they're dumb. All of the resources are being directed toward removing all of the abandoned vehicles so that they can even get the streets cleaned up.
Places like the Galleria Mall that decided it was going to open even though it's smack in the middle of a driving ban didn't help the cause any either. |

You're not understanding something. They received a full year's worth of snow in 3 days. Front loaders need to go through first. Plows can't handle it.
